Bungii Delivery Pro Feature: Matthew B.

School is back in session and for many that means picking up side hustles to help pay for university enrollment, books, and rent. It can be tricky to work and take classes. As a Bungii Delivery Pro, you’re offered flexible scheduling.

Our very own Delivery Pro, Matthew B., has recently graduated from the University of Maryland. He drove with Bungii throughout his collegiate career and told us a bit about his experience.

Why 11 questions, you ask? We love our Delivery Pros!… and our curiosity got the best of us

11 Questions with Matthew B.

1. Tell us a Bit about yourself.

I am a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, with a Bachelors in Business Administration, and a minor in Cyber Security. I am active-duty US Army. I applied for a program for the Army to send me back to school full time. They either pay for the degree or my paycheck, so I picked the degree.

2. How do you enjoy spending your free time?

I enjoy snowboarding, working on cars, and fishing. Huge into racing of all types, in particular, automotive racing, such as Formula 1 and Baja 1000.

3. Why do you drive with Bungii?

It is a fantastic workout and I meet cool people. Also, Bungii delivery work has helped me with my rent, paying for some class materials, and my current goal of buying an engagement ring.

4. What is your favorite thing about your city?

While there is plenty to do in Washington DC, it’s also an hour away from either the beach, mountains, or off-roading locations. This area has it all, as well as job opportunities. Most important is that most of my family is relatively close. Dulles Airport is close so I can go see the rest.

5. how did you first hear about Bungii?

I searched Google looking for work that I could do in between classes and Military training. I had a truck and a strong back, so it made sense.

6. What is one piece of advice for a new Bungii driver?

Most of the clients I have delivered for prefer the driver is ready to rock the moment they arrive on the property. Be punctual, and be kind to Bungii Support, they are very helpful if you are clear and concise on each situation.

7. What would you say to somebody considering driving with Bungii?

Do not wait, start driving now. It will help you reach a goal you didn’t even know you had. There have been some things I have got to deliver that have been quite fun and interesting – like 55 shopping carts or stone lions.

8.What’s your go-to snack to have in your truck during Bungii deliveries?

Spicy Doritos and Sunrise Orange Monster Energy

9.What’s your favorite thing to spend your Bungii earnings on?

If there is any extra left over from rent and saving for that ring, then movie tickets and race car parts.

10. What do you plan to do now that you’ve graduated?

I return to Active Duty, continuing my mission. I commissioned as an officer. If possible when things cool down in the world, get back to delivering with Bungii.

11. If you could do a Bungii for anybody in the world, who would it be?

Mike Rowe, from Dirty Jobs. I think he is a manly as they come, would enjoy the chance to talk to him, and be curious about what he ordered through Bungii that he couldn’t have picked up himself.
