Pier 1 Delivery

Does Pier 1 Deliver?

Pier 1 offers in-home delivery from their store locations. They have a flat rate of $169 for your entire order. Delivery of most orders usually takes 21 days to arrive after the order is placed.

That timeline can fluctuate a bit depending on your delivery location and stock availability. If the store doesn’t have your desired item in stock it can delay your whole order.

Pier 1 classifies their delivery as a white glove service because it includes the following:

  • Full inspection of your order
  • Delivery to your room of choice
  • Unpacking and removal of packing material
  • Large item assembly

If there are any known issues with your items you can contact Pier 1’s customer relations number at 1-855-513-5138. They can assist you with order information and tracking.

If you are in a rush and need same-day or next-day delivery from Pier 1, ask if Bungii is available to help get your big and bulky purchases home fast.

Does Pier 1 Have Curbside Pickup?

Pier 1 does offer curbside pickup and will continue this service through COVID-19. If you buy an item online and it’s in-stock at a nearby store, select the curbside pickup option.

Using Pier 1’s curbside option is a great solution to ensuring you can get your new items home as quickly as possible. Recently, ordering online comes with delays during COVID due to health and safety procedures being introduced in warehouses and along supply chains. The best way to get your stuff home fast is by purchasing items in stock at your nearest Pier 1.

Bungii is a perfect service to help with curbside pickup options at Pier 1 and any store. Order your item online and send your Bungii Driver to bring it to you. You don’t even have to leave the couch.

Why is Pier 1 Closing?

Pier 1 was recently in the news due to the announcement they would be closing all store locations over the next few months. They were unable to find a buyer for their business earlier this year and are forced to dissolve the retailer.

Pier 1 has said they will be selling as much of their stock in stores as soon as they are able to reopen stores. Stores have remained closed amid Coronavirus concerns. As soon as they can reopen stores nationally, they will move quickly to sell in-store items as soon as they can. Their website currently states that all items are 30% off.

Some popular items, such as their mattresses, are completely out of stock. More items should follow suit as they aim to shut down all operations by the end of the year. If you have a store near you, now might be the best time to find good deals on furniture and other large items, but be sure to move fast before all Pier 1s  are permanently closed.
